Concrete Cube Testing

Thorough compressive strength testing

BSI

Concrete Cube Testing

At Neil Sullivan & Sons, we perform a meticulous concrete manufacturing and delivery service, going the extra mile to ensure your concrete mix performs to your specified strength requirements.

Concrete Cube Testing-01

To achieve this, we can carry out concrete cube testing in accordance with BS EN 12390 standards.

Concrete cube testing is one of the most effective methods of testing the compressive strength of hardened concrete. The procedure is simple, and is carried out by our trained technicians who follow strict industry guidelines every step of the way.

At various stages during your concrete pour, we take samples of concrete and place them into standard sized cube moulds. We then compact these moulds, removing any trapped air between layers. The hardened cubes are labelled, stored and cured before being tested.

Concrete Cube Testing-02

The cubes are finally tested using a compression machine to determine the compressive strength of your concrete.

We perform concrete cube testing with complete professional care. We understand the importance of an accurate, careful testing process, and are happy to advise on the correct grade and strength requirements for your concrete mix.
